Evaporation

During evaporation, 1% of the water changes state. The vapor absorbs heat before moving toward the compressor.

Compression

The water vapor is compressed, increasing its pressure so it can condense at ambient temperature.

Condensation

The vapor condenses, releasing the heat absorbed during evaporation. This heat can then be rejected or recovered depending on the application, while the cycle continues throughout chiller operation.

With a theoretical COP above 6 and measurable efficiency gains, GEN5 opens a new path for industrial cooling: more efficient, cleaner and free from conventional chemical refrigerants.

Scaling up toward industrialization

The third generation of chillers reached 500 kW of cooling power, validating the technology at a significant industrial scale. The next generation is designed to exceed 1 MW, confirming the solution's ability to serve high-power applications as early as 2026.
